Reverse osmosis technology removes 99.8% of contaminants from water. This is the most advanced way to purify drinking water at home. The main component of the filter is the Ecosoft reverse osmosis membrane. It purifies water at the molecular level, retaining all kinds of contaminants, even viruses and bacteria. The reverse osmosis membrane is a semi-permeable polymeric fabric. Its pores are 200 times smaller than those of viruses, so membrane purification guarantees biological protection. Water purified by this method can be drunk without boiling. According to research by the World Health Organisation, calcium is absorbed from water in the same way as from food.
